Eid in Guyana is something else, Mark. Wish we could've spent it there. I'm fascinated how the people in Guyana and Trinidad practise religious tolerance like nowhere else. Aaaaaall body, aaaaall beliefs get together.

Who cooked, Sher? What did you all eat?

I was pretending we had all the goodies you mentioned. I had mentally laid everything out on the table.

I think we all need to meet and everyone bring his or her favourite dish. What say you?

Neena, your menu sounds wonderful. I would try a morsel from every single item you’ll be serving and wash it off with a nice cup of your tea.

I hope you had a lovely Eid with your mother and the rest of the family.

How was Eid, Krimo? What did you all eat? Did you put it on youtube? I must check it out. The non-fasting people ate the day before here. On Eid Day, it was quiet.

Eid was good, seeing all my great-nephews and nieces all dressed in lovely new clothes. My sister made our traditional Couscous with lamb and vegetables as well as something akin to Haggis but spicier.

I sadly didn’t record the cooking.

Great-nephews and nieces. Wow. That sounds like a fabulous family gathering. When I'm with family, I laugh outrageously.

Though you didn't record the cooking, you know how to make those dishes, yes? Would you be brave enough do it for your YouTube channel?
