I’m a storyteller, yarn-spinner, joke-maker, teller of tall tales.

I am Caribbean-West Indian, East Indian, with ancestors from east and west coming together on the edge of South America, where reality meets the unseen.

It was in this environment that I grew to be a weaver of shadows, moonlight, candle light, daylight, and all de lights, seeking light when we have a power cut.

This is who I am, seeking better ways. When de flood raise up, hot sun beat down, prices gone up, eye-water fall down, a laugh turn up.

As a storyteller, I throw in a dash o’ Creolese with the English, making word soup.

Me love chooking…poking…around the ghastly and the good, searching for truth, humour, beauty to add to the soup. And I’m learning to be The Best Nobody-Somebody In The World.

Come walk with me, nah? I promise you, even blackout nights are fun. We can kill a mosquito or two, crack open a story, drink some truth and spit out the lies.

Writer. Storytella. From The Land of Many Waters (top of South America). I like to crack open stories - the ludicrous, lyrical, magical, mundane - and make word soup.
